Work Experience

Work Experience

  • Owner, Arcana Labs, LLC

    Jan, 2012 - Present

I've been consulting through my company Arcana Labs for almost ten years. After interviewing for the iTunes team many times and finding too many specialized positions that didn't fit my skill-set I put aside that dream and set out to define my own work options.

  • Product Design Lead / Build Systems / DevOps / SeleniumCavulus, Inc.

    Dec, 2013 - Present

Designed and integrated my interfaces using Vue.js to create a universal form builder application now used by hundreds of thousands of people. Built a drag-and-drop form builder with Ember.js on top of Ruby on Rails. Redesigned a legacy ColdFusion app with little developer assistance. I can work on interfaces around nearly any back-end stack and communicate my changes to developers effectively.

  • Founder / Designer / DeveloperInfiniteScan.com

    May, 2009 - Aug, 20123 years 3 months

Designed and developed an internet radio with a brain. It finds web radio stations and favorites them to create your own music collection through a easy interface for collecting music via radio stations or YouTube and free, web based iTunes with social listening features.

  • Sr. Interactive Designer & DeveloperMobileRoadie.com

    Mar, 2011 - Sep, 20121 year 6 months

Designed & built custom mobile apps for Roy Orbison, Magic Johnson Enterprises, the FADER, U2 and many more. All designed with Photoshop and built with HTML5/CSS3/jQuery & Mobile Roadie's app building platform. I lead build & design on new PWA style mobile web app builder offering.

  • Creative DirectorMyFDB.com

    Apr, 2009 - Aug, 20112 years 4 months

As the third employee at this startup, I lead the product and development team through a successful alpha release, a $1M seed round and eventual sale. Saw our team go from 3 to more than 40 people and then launch at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week 2009.

  • Lead DesignerELC Technologies

    May, 2008 - Aug, 20091 year 3 months
